We are a small independent company with no high pressure salesmen masquerading as IRS Consultants. We will not sell you a service that you don't qualify for. We will not guarantee an end result to your problems: there are too many variables, not the least of which is the IRS! We have enough experience in tax resolution to project a probable outcome to most issues requiring representation or tax preparation, and to know that guaranteed results are prohibited by IRS guidelines.

Deborah Holstein (company owner) worked in personal income tax preparation for one of the largest paid preparer firms in the nation from 1995 through 2004. The last five years of her employment with them included teaching personal income tax preparation: to new employees, as well as the general public, in a Texas Workforce Commission approved class. The ability to assist clients in resolving perplexing tax issues while training others to do so as well, was very gratifying and encouraged her to look for a means of assisting those whose tax problems couldn't be resolved with just accurate tax preparation.

In 2002, after much rigorous study, and passing the IRS Special Examination for Enrolled Agents, Deborah was approved by the Internal Revenue Service to represent clients before the Collections Department.

Deborah realized early in her career as an Enrolled Agent how important it is to maintain her personal ethical standards: while applying her vast knowledge of the IRS regulations, as well as serving her clients with the utmost respect each and every one of them deserved. She quickly realized that some companies were very focused on their bottom line, ultimately impacting the quality of service they provided their clients, and frequently crossing ethical boundaries. As a result, Deborah formed her own company: Deborah S Holstein, EA Tax Services, enabling her to focus on providing her clients with superior services based on her knowledge of the income tax laws while maintaining her personal ethical standards.
